Contact Etiquette - or Edie-quette
How are you? I had chicken, chips and salad for lunch. It was so good.
Today I’m writing about Contact Etiquette.
Q: How and when it is appropriate to contact Edie?
A: The answer is: When you are arranging a date and then in the leadup to the date.
If you are booking me every week, then you can expect that I will touch base with you every week once your deposit has cleared.
You may have noticed: my number is still around, but it is no longer advertised widely.
This is deliberate - I am doing my best to switch off my phone more, because this will help me stay healthy and keep my brain clutter and rot-free.
I much prefer to plan according to my Availability and Booking Form.

Please only contact me to arrange a date.
I find it hard to juggle multiple phones/ads/social media, so having boundaries around technology means we can savour the anticipation towards our in-person meetings
If you would like to catch up with me, please follow me on social media. bluesky, instagram, twitter
If you would like to catch up online, use my booking form to make this happen.
Have you texted me nicely? Don’t worry - this is not directed at you + I’m not mad at you :)
This is a reminder for people who message me persistently
(dangling a booking without deposit, seeking attention/inappropriate messages/giving unsolicited advice, trying to sext poorly) without the intention of booking. Are you worried you’ll forget and then message me?
Never fear, I’m putting this in my FAQIf in doubt, fill this out: >> http://www.edielau.com/book <<
All my best,
Edie
